Our story

From Imperial Beach to Mira Mesa.

Excellent Dry Cleaners is a second-generation, family-owned and operated business. The family story began in 1986 in Imperial Beach, followed by Palm Avenue in 1990, Mr. J’s in Point Loma in 1992, Excellent Cleaners of Mira Mesa in 1996 and Excellent Cleaners of Oceanside in 2005.

Mira Mesa is now the last standing storefront, and it still carries the Mr. J top hat logo the family has used since 1986.
